What was unexpected has turned out on Sunday, 66th birth anniversary of Dr Vishnuvardhana. The birth anniversary not attended by family members of Dr Vishnuvardhana is facing stiff challenge from the fans.

Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi has decided to develop the 2 acres of land where Dr Vishnuvrdhana was cremated and set up Memorial.  Senior actor Ramesh Bhat, Huchcha Venkat and others assembled at this place to pay respect to legendary actor Dr Vishnuvardhana.


The outcome on Sunday fans meeting at Dr Vishnuvardhana memorial controversial land is something unusual. Nearly 10000 fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana assembled at land adjacent to Abhiman Studio. The single opinion of fans was to set up memorial of Vishnu Daada at this place but not in Mysuru.

Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi President Veerakaputra Srinivas, Dr V Nagendra Prasad and other organized the birth anniversary with fans thronging the memorial place. None of the family members of Dr Vishnu stepped inside. Dr Bharathi is hell bent on setting up memorial at Mysuru.


The fans observing one minute silence raised their hands at the memorial approving Dr Vishnu Memorial at this place in Bengaluru instead of Mysuru.


Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi held health check up, blood donation camp etc at this place. From 11.30 am to 2.30 pm the food was served at this place.


Dr V Nagendra Prasad speaking to this journalist said the stand of fans is very firm. 100 Bharathi Vishnuvardhana comes and says, we will not change our stand of setting up Dr Vishnuvrdhana Memorial at this place.


The fans have decided to raise funds and construct memorial. What is the stand of the government in this case, what is Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana reply to such strong feelings of Dr Vishnu fans? We have to wait and watch.
